I was looking for a quick dessert for a barbecue and came across this recipe. I love the addition of the strawberry yogurt! Instead if using a trifle dish you could also use a casserole dish and just do one layer.
Ingredients
-13 oz of Angel Food Cake
- 3 cups blueberries
- 1 qt strawberries
- 24 ounces strawberry yogurt
- 1 package (3.3 oz) white chocolate instant pudding
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1 package of cool whip
Directions
1. Cut angel food cake into 1 inch cubed then divide into 3 equal parts
2. Cut strawberries into quarters then mix the strawberries and blueberries together
3. Set aside 1 cup of the berry mix then divide the rest of the berries into 3 equal parts
4. Mix the yogurt, puddling, and lemon juice then mix 1 cup of cool whip and divide into 3 equal parts
5. Place 1/3 of the angel food cake at the bottom of the trifle then add 1/3 of the berry mixture and 1/3 of the yogurt, spread evenly. Repeat this two more times
6. Top with remaining cool whip and the 1 cup of berries
